Located on seven miles of beautiful white sandy beach on Lake Huron in
the picturesque community of Sauble Beach, Ontario, Canada. Sauble Beach is a diamond in
the rough, catering to discriminate vacationers. Restaurants, shops, amusement parks,
hiking, biking, boating, fishing, and golf all in a safe environment. The waters of Lake
Huron are crystal clear, the shallow sand bottom gradually tapers providing a safe swim
area for children to play. Sunsets have been acclaimed as second only to the Aegean Sea,
offering a veritable entertaining laser light show every evening.
Pickwick Cottages offer the quiet and private serenity that families have come to
cherish for their holidays. Located just a 5 minute drive from Main Street and the downtown area on its own private wide sandy
white beach. A walk into Town, or to the quaint "Trading Post" general store
within 200 yards of our beach, is a family favourite. Many of our families have repeated
their holiday’s in one of our FIFTEEN cottages for 20+ consecutive years. Now their
children and grandchildren are carrying on the tradition of staying at PICKWICK COTTAGES.
Our cottages are clean, well-kept and professionally cleaned between each visit. Each
cottage is unique and all are fully equipped with stoves, refrigerators, kitchen
dishes, pots & pans, hot water, flush toilets, showers and/or bathtubs and wood burning
fireplace.
Their rustic charm plus the natural treed setting are part of their appeal, along with
a great expanse of open space for privacy and play. Each has its own firepit for
evening gatherings be it for a marshmallow roast, strumming a guitar or just conversing
and sharing the fun of each day.
Two and three bedroom cottages are available sleeping from 4 to 6 people comfortably.
You need to only bring your own bedding and towels. Everything else is provided for you
and your family. The beach volleyball area, horseshoe pits, and playground equipment are
only for PICKWICK families.
PICKWICK COTTAGES are open from May through October. So
